MediaCorp have just released a Radio station apps for Android 2.1 and only on selected HTC handset (HTC Wildfire, Desire, Legend and Hero).
Though it was stated that it is only applicable for selected model. I’ve managed to see that it works on Samsung Galaxy S and Samsung Spica too.

Used it for 5 min and here’s the quick review.
Pros: Fast, uses speaker instead of earphone/headphone, lyrics selection.
Cons: Unable to manually add radio station.

the question remaining is how much data does it load in a period of time… to see if this is going to blow the 12GB limit per month? any clue?
My guess is it won’t take up much of your data. And 12GB is pretty much difficult to hit.
If you really want to track, check http://www.appbrain.com/app/de.ub0r.de.android.callMeterNG (Call Meter NG) app which allow you to track your data usage.
How do i install it?
Grab the apk, put in your sdcard.
Use file manager and install.
