Previously, there were several reports regarding the iPhone 4 (iOS 4) having issues with its antenna after it’s launch on 24th June 2010.
After almost 2 weeks, Apple had finally release a statement stating that it is due to software issue. Which actually makes its quite hard to believe.
There were rumors that Steve Jobs himself had replied a email to unsatisfying customers with regards to this issue.
Currently, the solutions seem to be either getting a case, or hold your iPhone the different way.
Just some time ago, Consumer Reports confirm that the iPhone itself had issue with signal while holding the wrong way. – Engadget
